I can't wait to spend this rainy day in the house with Mr. No. Will we really spend the day in the house? I will take it upon myself to answer an emphatic, "NO!" Not if we all want to live to see another day. . .

Sounds like a man that wants control of things! A trip to Nana and Grandpa's is always a rainy day option....
There was a kid at Mom's daycare that would say no to EVERYthing- ice cream, puppies, cash...everything. Then a few seconds later he would say, "William would like some ice cream/puppy/cash" Smart little bastard.
