Another Prayer Request
I feel like I'm always asking my readers (all 4 of you!) to pray for someone or something but I feel like blogging is a good way to reach at least a few people that I wouldn't normally "speak" to in other ways. My brother's best friend (and practically another member of the King family and the friend we stayed with in Wilmington this summer), Sam, just called to say that his dad is very sick with lung cancer. The doctors have given him a few months to live. Please pray for Sam and his family as they have some rough times ahead. I can't imagine what he is going through right now.

I don't understand why we can fly to the moon but can't find a cure for cancer...
Why can Farrah Faucet go to Germany, get treatment for cancer & come back better-than-ever...but the normal folk can't?! What is the deal!?
There has to be a cure for cancer. It has to come soon. Sam and his family will be in our prayers. Prayer is powerful!

My prayers and thoughts will be with Sam and his family! I feel like I know all of you, I am one of your Mom's math friends. I keep a check of your blogs to see how Mr. Kingston is doing. He is growing like a weed. It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! Back to Sam, I lost my father to cancer January 2007. It is a hard and cruel disease!
